FOUR-PART SERMON SERIES: SURPRISES FOR EVERYONE
Jesus often surprised people who were expecting something different from him. In these four weeks ahead we'll hear how he surprised insiders, skeptics, the sidelined, and grudge-holders.
The stories from early in Jesus’ life and ministry give us glimpses of a meaningful, joyful life. An alternative to the “try harder” or “do better” mentality common at the beginning of a new year with its emphasis on resolutions and plans, this series helps us find the joy already present in our lives, grounded in God’s continuous presence.
